The past year has seen the focus of Oju Welfare Association’s work move increasingly towards improving the quality of the program and the products that it had developed during the previous year. The efforts were redefined both in its structure, contents and orientation. The executing group not only focused on pushing the awareness and the attention of the stakeholders but also to strengthen the mind set of the beneficiaries. Similarly, the field workers moved towards the concrete collection of data that would enable it to understand and comprehensively identify the needs of the people in order to formulate the development plans in a participatory mode so as to work according to the needs of the people. Clearly, these are the first steps and the present year will continue to focus on strengthening these aspects for improvements.
